Brrrr!

Brrrr! It has been so cold outside, but I do love this time of year for all of the deals, deals, deals in all of the stores! I have already secured Layla's winter coat, snowpants, and hat and mittens for next winter. Hopefully they fit!

Above is one of my deals of the week...yes, it is too big! Don't worry, we have another one from Grandma Cathy that fits her perfectly...this one just may come in handy when it is freezing in April.

On Saturday, Layla and I and my parents headed to Iowa to hang out with Cassie and Shea for the day. The husbands, Ryan and Jamie, were both busy working all day. They are some busy boys with their numerous jobs :-) Above is a picture of Layla playing on drums that belong to Mr. Seamus.

Saturday evening, we headed to Happy Joe's for dinner. My dad thought it would be a fun place to take the babies because a train moves along on a track above all of the tables. He was right and both Layla and Shea enjoyed watching the train move around and around.

Shea was being Mr. Silly at dinner. He took this piece of pizza away from Cassie and he also had a piece of garlic bread in the other hand.

Shea decided he wanted some spaghetti from his placemat, but his hands were full so he just went face first into his placemat for the spaghetti...too funny!
