Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We spent the first part of the day with Ryan's family and second half with my family. We were very full of turkey but happy we got to see many family members.

Unfortunately, Layla got little to no sleep on Thanksgiving Eve so she spent a lot of Thanksgiving day sleeping. She is currently in the middle of a two week period of being weaned off her old medicine and weaned onto a new medicine and I think it may be a lot for her little system to take during this transition period. Fortunately, while she was awake she was a very happy camper which made for a happy Thanksgiving :-)

Below is a picture of the very busy Layla who enjoyed her day of playing, seeing cousins and working on getting some major teeth to pop through in the back of her mouth.

Below is a picture of Layla and Truan enjoying their Thanksgiving feasts. Layla got all of the fixings while Truan enjoyed the puffs! Don't let the picture fool you, Layla barely ate anything. I don't know if it was her teeth or what was going on, but our normally good eater wouldn't touch food on the big eating day of the year.

And last but not least is a montage of Layla, Shea and Joan. Layla and Shea are quite the good buddies and were happy to spend Wednesday through Friday together. They loved having Joan over to play on Friday. Thank you Joan for helping my mom watch the kiddos while Ryan (our wonderful driver), Cassie and I fought the Black Friday crowds!
